Hoi! I'm Karthik a random person on earth, who enjoys building things with code, curiosity, and an unhealthy attachment to free-tier services.
Lately, I’ve been working across backend systems, AI-powered tools, and embedded projects mostly by stitching together ideas, debugging strange errors, and seeing how far free infrastructure can be pushed before it politely asks for a credit card.
I’ve built projects ranging from assistive AI tools for the visually impaired and wildlife monitoring systems to business platforms, automation tools, and whatever random idea decides to occupy my brain at 2 AM.
I like building things that are useful, slightly unconventional, and interesting enough to keep me awake all night

PROJECTS
- Built an assistive tool "NETHRA" for the visually impaired combining object detection (DETR), monocular depth estimation (UniDepthV2), and a vision-language model to generate spatially-aware scene descriptions.
- Built an "INTELLIGENT WILDLIFE MONITORING SYSTEM" for real-time species classification (SpeciesNet), weapon detection (YOLOv26s), and gunshot recognition using IoT edge nodes and a Flask backend.
- Developed and deployed a "RASA BRAND WEBSITE" for a Kerala-based spice brand,presenting their product catalog with livestock status and dynamic pricing powered by Supabase.
